THAT Laurie Darcus be appointed Interim Corporate Officer (City Clerk) as per the Community Charter S. 148.

    THAT the updated City of Delta Investment Policy be approved.

  • Recommendation:
    1. THAT an application be submitted to the Union of BC Municipalities Local Government Development Approvals Program for up to $200,000 in grant funding.
    2. THAT the funding be used over the next two years to support projects that will improve the efficiency and organization of the development approval processes.
  • Recommendation:

    THAT, in response to the letter dated January 20, 2026, titled “Consultation on Proposed Metro 2050 Amendment Options in Response to South of the Fraser Mayors’ Request,” this report be forwarded to the Metro Vancouver Board to convey the City’s concerns with the proposed options and to request that Metro Vancouver staff continue to explore policy reforms aimed at streamlining the Regional Growth Strategy amendment process while maintaining appropriate regional oversight.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT 5 pieces of external correspondence circulated to Council be received for information.

  • Recommendation:

    THAT the meeting adjourn.
